The Medical Analysis Laboratory 2 was founded in 2000 by Mr. Academician, Professor Doctor Ioanel Sinescu, Director of the Center for Urological Surgery, Dialysis and Renal Transplantation of the Fundeni Clinical Institute. We mention that it is the first functional, molecular biology laboratory in transplant immunology in Romania. Since 2006, the laboratory has been a Reference Center in Transplant Immunology in Romania, a methodological forum, periodically organizing international workshops, round tables and courses in the field of histocompatibility, immunogenetics and virology, congresses and other national and international scientific events.
