Within the PROGEN professional training of medical staff in medical GENETICS project – project co-financed from the EUROPEAN SOCIAL FUND through the Human Capital Operational Program 2014-2020 based on POCU Contract: 91/4/8/107623/08.12.2017 activity A6 – Participation of individuals from the target group to exchanges of experience/ exchanges of good practices, including in the context of transnational cooperation actions, sub-activity: A6.1 The participation of a number of 10 Romanian specialists in the medical field in 2 congresses/conferences in the field of medical genetics. The activity aims to improve the methodological framework and technical skills of medical specialists as well as increase the degree of involvement of Romanian specialists in European information exchange initiatives. This activity falls under the secondary themes, namely non-discrimination, because the selection of specialists will take place in compliance with the principles of equal opportunities and non-discrimination of gender, race, sex, religion or any other type of discrimination, giving equal opportunities to women and men . On this occasion, it is our great pleasure to invite you to the XI Medical Genetics Conference with International Participation, which will be held in Timisoara, in the conference room of the Timisoara Hotel, between September 18-20, 2019.
SUBJECT: Genomic Medicine; Clinical genetics and dysmorphology; Genetics of reproduction. Pre and perinatal genetics; Cytogenetics. Molecular genetics; Cancer genetics; Pharmacogenetics; Psychiatric genetics; Neurogenetics; Nutrigenomics; Vary. The presence of lecturers from abroad as well as yours honors us and guarantees the success of our conference. The well-known specialist in metabolomics, Dr. Claudia Cozma from Centogene and our distinguished colleagues from the Republic of Moldova, Dr. Natalia Usurelu, Dr. Victoria Sacara, Prof. Dr. Igor Cemortan, confirmed their presence at the Conference.
The target group to which it is addressed is made up of: geneticists, pediatricians, neonatologists, family doctors, biologists, biochemists, etc. In accordance with the Methodology for the selection of participants from the target group for exchanges of experience / good practices, including in the context of transnational cooperation actions,
a number of 10 specialists from the target group will be selected for their participation in 2 congresses / national / international conferences in the field medical genetics. The mandatory conditions for the selection of the 10 specialists are:
- a) The medical staff must be employed in a public institution that offers medical/public health services (e.g. public hospital, public health authority, medical institute or institution) on the date of submission of the application.
- b) Medical personnel to be involved in the implementation of priority health programs, more precisely, in the field of medical genetics at the national, regional, county and local level in the Development Regions: Bucharest Ilfov, Center, West and North-East
- c) To have fully participated in the courses organized within the PROGEN project.
The candidate will submit a Registration Application (Annex 1) in order to participate in the congress/conference. The list of conference participants is made on the basis of the “first come, first served” principle. The participants will be provided with the participation fee for the respective conference/congress: access to the scientific sessions, the map, the volume of
abstracts, the invitation to the festive dinner, lunch, coffee break. Access to festive lunches and dinners is only possible with the badge. The fee does not provide accommodation.
